  • Yes, that's right.

  • Press the button on the bottom of the thermostat.  The front housing will detach exposing the batteries for easy replacement.  The front housing can be snapped back on once you have changed the batteries,
  • No.  The RFR is only compatible with the Rx7-RF programmers.

  • Check if the thermostat is locked.  It will have lock symbol on the screen if it is.  You can unlock it by pressing the dial for 10 seconds.

  • Reset the thermostat using these steps: Press the reset button on the PCB, 'NO' will flash on the screen. Rotate the hand wheel clockwise until 'YES' appears on the screen. Press the hand wheel once to confirm the setting. The thermostat has now been reset and the current temperature will appear on the screen. If the problem persists, a replacement will be needed.
  • Yes you can. If you have TRVs installed, make sure you remove the head from the TRV of the room you move it to.
